The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao's National Tour Triumphs in Beijing

On May 7, The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao graced China's capital city, Beijing, as part of its 2023 National Tour. Under the esteemed leadership of President Lu Siqing, our dedicated faculty and talented students joined forces, delivering an enchanting performance that married passion with professionalism at the Fornia Theater in Beijing.

In the Intersection of Classic and Beauty, Souls are Cleansed

Reveling in the timeless appeal of classic works, the concert presented an evocative exploration of musical heritage. Our distinguished faculty, including cello instructor Mo Mo and Associate Professor of Violin Tymur Melnyk, expertly performed a selection of diverse, stylistically unique compositions from renowned composers such as Liszt, Cassado, Beethoven, and Paganini. Meanwhile, our exceptional students, specializing in keyboard, string, and wind instruments, offered the audience a stunning repertoire featuring the works of Mozart, Brahms, Komarovsky, Shostakovich, and Albeniz. Tied together by the universal language of music, our teachers and students breathed new life into these captivating compositions, masterfully illustrating the profound depths of the composers' inspirations, and thus creating a night of enchanting musical experience for our audience.
