Yuwen Wang, a violinist from China, believes music expression is ineffable and strives during every performance for the audiences to feel her passion and energy. She began to learn the violin at 4 years old. In 2008, She enrolled Tianjin Conservatory of music middle school in Lianfa Gao Studio. She was recommended for admission to Tianjin Conservatory of music in Yongsheng Wang and Ke Qu studio. After she received the Bachelor Degree from Tianjin Conservatory of music, she received the scholarship from Boston University and studied Performance Diploma  in Professor Yuri Mazurkevich’s studio in 2018. In 2020, she enrolled Master degree of Tianjin Juilliard school with scholarships and studied with Shanghai String Quartet first violin Weigang Li.


In 2016, Yuwen won the string group in the Korea-China International Music Competition. That same year, she received the gold medal in the Solo String group at the 8th Asian And Ocean International Youth Arts Festival. In June 2018 she acquired First Prize at the Brandenburg International Music Competition in the artists category. She earned Honorable Mention in the String Department Bach Competition of Boston University school of music in December, of 2018.


As an orchestral musician Yuwen as performed throughout China and in Boston. In 2011, she performed with the national orchestra on their Taiwan and Mainland Tour in August. As a student representative, she performed on the Tianjin Conservatory of Music & the Juilliard School Concert, Rong-communication Concert, in October 2016. She was also the concertmaster of Tianjin Conservatory of Music Youth Symphony Orchestra in 2016. In 2017, she went to music festivals including Shanghai Spring International Musical Festival and Tianjin 5th May Musical Festival. She also joined the tour concert orchestra to Shenzhen, Shanghai, Guangzhou with the Music Youth Symphony Orchestra of her undergraduate school. In June of 2019, she worked at Guiyang Symphony Orchestra following the China south tour concert. Yuwen attended the 2nd Tianjin Chamber music Festival and performed with oboe musician Scott Bell in 2020. In 2021, she premiered  Song across the Aeons with Pianist Alvin Zhu, Flutist Gergely Ittzes and Singer Yinpei Han in The 3rd Tianjin Chamber music Festival.
