On May 10th, a delegation led by Liu Shengqin, a member of the Standing Committee of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee, Head of the Publicity Department, and Secretary of the Education Working Committee, visited and conducted a research visit at The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao. The delegation inspected various facilities of the school, including the music teaching building, academic teaching building, student dormitories, and dining hall. They were briefed on the school's infrastructure, faculty composition, teaching management, admissions, and further education. Additionally, they had the opportunity to observe ongoing music courses and attend a piano recital by Michel Dalberto, a renowned French pianist and professor at the school, held in the school's concert hall.

Ms. Liu Shengqin highly commended The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao for its ambitious planning, high construction standards, and commitment to excellence in education. She acknowledged the school's rapid growth in domestic and international influence since its establishment and emphasized the significant achievement that the establishment and opening of this school represent for education and culture in Qingdao and the entire country. She particularly highlighted the school's role as an internationally-oriented music specialty institution, contributing to the development of Qingdao as an “Island of Music” and enhancing its international influence. She encouraged the school to uphold its educational goals and maintain high standards, striving to become a world-class music specialty school. She also urged the school to leverage its professional resources by hosting diverse performances, professional competitions, domestic and international exchanges, and international music festivals, thereby promoting Qingdao's cultural status and international influence.

Leaders from relevant branches of the Publicity Department of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee, Qingdao Education Bureau, and West Coast New Area, joined the research visit.
