At the start of the new academic year, the music faculty at The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao (YMSQ) is bolstered with the addition of renowned pianist and piano educator, Professor Sun Yun. Last academic year, Professor Sun Yun conducted a highly acclaimed public masterclass at our school. This year, she joins as a piano professor at YMSQ. A pianist deeply versed in the essence of both German and Russian musical traditions, Professor Sun Yun, who also teaches at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, will contribute her vast experience and profound knowledge to YMSQ's Keyboard Faculty. Her focus will be on nurturing young pianists aged 7-10, laying a solid foundation in their fundamental training and applying it in practical teaching, thus helping more music enthusiasts realize their dreams on the fertile ground of YMSQ's holistic education.
