On April 14th, Academician Ding Hong, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Deputy Director of the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Founding Dean of the Kilo-Innovation Research Institute, and a condensed matter physicist, along with Academician Wang Enge, Vice Chairman of the Beijing Association for Science and Technology and former President of Peking University, and Academician Tang Chao, Chair Professor at Peking University and Executive Dean of the Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies at Peking University, led a delegation of scientists from the Kilo-Innovation Research Institute to visit our school.

The delegation toured the music teaching building, academic building, the Menuhin Cultural Center, student practice rooms, and the concert hall. They gained detailed insights into the school's teaching methods, curriculum, admissions, and student advancement. The delegation also attended the special concert held on campus to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Sino-French diplomatic relations.

The visiting scientists highly praised The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao for its high-standard planning, construction, and educational achievements. They expressed admiration for the school's rapid progress and its growing influence both domestically and internationally since its opening. Sun Yonghong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Working Committee of Qingdao West Coast New Area, met with Academician Ding Hong and his team during their visit.

Kilo-Innovation Research Institute, co-founded by leading overseas-returned scientists and innovative entrepreneurs led by Academician Ding Hong, is a new type of R&D and industrialization institution. It aims to implement national strategies for talent development and innovation-driven growth, leveraging the strengths of overseas-returned talents. The institute supports the development of scientific and technological innovation centers across China, contributing to the creation of world-class technology enterprises.
