Strategic Partnership to Create a New Future for Urban Music

On the afternoon of July 9th, a strategic cooperation signing ceremony between The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao and Qingdao Radio and Television Station was held grandly in the studio hall of Qingdao Radio and Television Station.


Liu Shengqin, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Head of the Publicity Department, attended the signing ceremony. Liu Ji, Party Secretary, Director, and Editor-in-Chief of Qingdao Radio and Television Station (Group), and Lu Siqing, internationally renowned violinist and President of The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao, delivered speeches. Mark Stringer, the Deputy Head of The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao, and Wang Yonghui, a member of the Party Committee and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Qingdao Radio and Television Station, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties. Representatives of the school faculty and students, along with young hosts from Qingdao Radio and Television Station, presented wonderful performances.

Through this strategic cooperation, both parties will leverage their respective strengths. The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao will provide its international professional resources in the music field, while Qingdao Radio and Television Station will offer its extensive reach and influence. Together, they will establish internship and study bases, and organize activities such as classical music on campus, master classes, community music outreach programs, and music competitions. These initiatives aim to promote the popularization and development of music education in Qingdao, cultivate more innovative and practical talents, enhance the public’s love and appreciation for music, and jointly create a cultural and artistic public welfare brand for the city. This cooperation will contribute to the prosperity of Qingdao's social and cultural undertakings and help Qingdao gain international recognition as an artistic and culturally rich city.
