Ambassador Zheng Zeguang Visits Yehudi Menuhin School

On November 14, 2025, Chinese Ambassador to the UK Zheng Zeguang and his spouse, Counselor Hua Mei, were invited to visit the Yehudi Menuhin School. The school's Board Chair, David Buckley, Headmaster Robin Haskins, and other school leaders warmly welcomed Ambassador Zheng and his delegation, providing a detailed introduction to the school's history, educational philosophy, and its cooperation with China.

Ambassador Zheng Zeguang stated that the Yehudi Menuhin School is renowned worldwide for its exceptional teaching quality and profound humanistic traditions. It has nurtured many outstanding artistic talents for China and made significant contributions to promoting cultural and artistic exchanges between China and the UK. Since the establishment of The Menuhin School Qingdao in 2022, the two schools, with music as a bond, have played a unique role in deepening youth exchanges and mutual learning between the civilizations of China and the UK. China welcomes the Yehudi Menuhin School to continue deepening exchanges and cooperation with China in fields such as music education, youth exchanges, and talent cultivation.

Ambassador Zheng also visited and spoke with Chinese students studying at the school.
