On April 14th, another enriching session of the Professional Etiquette Lecture series took place. This session focused on chamber music and was hosted by teacher Ding Zuo, with Associate Professor of Violin, Cai Lei, as the main speaker. All junior high students attentively participated in this insightful lecture.
Chamber music is a crucial component for students delving into classical music. During the lecture, Professor Cai Lei took the students on a journey back to the Renaissance era, eloquently elaborating on the historical origins, developmental trajectory, and trends of chamber music. Professor Cai Lei skillfully combined appreciation with explanation, guiding the students through representative composers and works from different periods such as Mozart, Beethoven, and Tchaikovsky.
