British pianist Ashley Wass, a distinguished graduate of The Royal College of Music, has held esteemed positions as Professor of Piano at the same institution, and subsequently as Deputy Head of Keyboard Studies at The Royal Northern College of Music. Additionally, he serves as a Senior Professor in the Piano Department at Bristol University and has been the Artistic Director of the Lincolnshire International Chamber Music Festival for eleven years. Celebrated for his broad and eclectic repertoire, Ashley's recordings, encompassing a wide spectrum of styles and eras, have consistently received critical acclaim and have been frequently chosen as BBC Music Magazine ‘Choices’.
Ashley is highly established as an outstanding pianist and recording artist, as well as a music educator with profound attainments in the field of music teaching. He is currently the Director of Music at The Yehudi Menuhin School in England and the first Director of Music of The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao.
