Zhong Wen, born in Qingdao, started learning the piano at the age of four. She received guidance from world-renowned pianists and educators, including Cui Yan, Chang Yinuo, Shi Jinglin, Sun Yun, Dai Gaode, Li Jian, and Phillip Kawin.


In 2009, she became the only student from Shandong Province to be admitted to the Piano Department of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. During her time at the school, she received the People's Scholarship and the Ende Niu Scholarship for three consecutive years. In 2013, she earned her Bachelor's degree in piano and was awarded the title of "Outstanding Graduate of Shanghai". In 2014, Zhong Wen was admitted to the graduate program in piano performance at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and later in 2017, she gained admission to the Manhattan School of Music in the United States, where she earned a Master's degree in music.


Zhong Wen was invited to record instructional videos for the 2014 edition of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music's piano grading system. In 2016, she performed at the closing concert of the "Second Sino-American Crossover Music Exchange Festival" held at the MIT Kresge Auditorium. Since 2020, she has been consistently contributing written content to youth music platforms and recording demonstration videos for children’s piano teaching materials.


Zhong Wen has held recitals in the Shanghai Concert Hall, He Luting Concert Hall, Qingdao Concert Hall, and Greenfield Hall at the Manhattan School of Music.
