Li Lansong, a leading bassoonist and pedagogue, is Professor of Bassoon and Chamber Music at the Central Conservatory of Music in China. He is also Principal Bassoon of China Philharmonic Orchestra, Board Member of Asian Double Reed Association, Vice-President and Secretary-General of China Bassoon Society, Vice-President of China Federation of Chamber Musician, Council Member of China Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles, China Central Television “Top 10 Winds Virtuoso of China”, and Artistic Director of Beijing International Bassoon Festival, and has served on the jury of major domestic and international Music Competitions, including the 2015 Switzerland Muri competition.

He was Principal Bassoon of China Broadcast Symphony Orchestra, Principal Bassoon of China National Symphony Orchestra and European Youth Orchestra. As soloist he has performed with China Philharmonic Orchestra, China National Symphony Orchestra, Qingdao Symphony Orchestra, Kunming Symphony Orchestra, Ulsan Symphony Orchestra (South Korea), Inchon Philharmonic Orchestra (South Korea).
