He Shucong received formative training under renowned pedagogues: Chen Jixu, Chai Liang, Yu Bing, Pierre Amoyal, Qian Zhou, and violin virtuoso Shlomo Mintz. A graduate of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, he was selected for the institution's prestigious Top Innovative Talents Program in recognition of exceptional artistry, supported by the Edifier Musicians Foundation and Wahaha Music Foundation. He made institutional history at the National University of Singapore as the inaugural and sole recipient of the Artist Diploma with Full Scholarship. His artistic development has been enriched through masterclasses with legendary violinists including Ivry Gitlis, Pinchas Zukerman, Viktor Tretyakov, Vadim Repin, Midori, and Nam-Yun Kim.


He’s musical journey spans the globe, marked by collaborations with some of the most distinguished figures in classical music. He has worked with legendary maestros such as He Zhanhao, Yu Long, Huang Yi, John Nelson, Vladimir Lande, and Jochem Hochstenbach. His orchestral collaborations include performances with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (UK), the China Philharmonic Orchestra, the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, and the Siberian State Symphony Orchestra (Russia, Novosibirsk), alongside numerous leading Chinese ensembles such as the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, Beijing Symphony Orchestra, Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra, Changchun Film Studio Orchestra, and the China Youth Symphony Orchestra. Since 2021, He has served as Concertmaster of the Major New Youth Orchestra, where he frequently collaborates with violin virtuoso Lu Siqing on international tours. He is also a member of the Central Conservatory Masters Chamber Ensemble and a founding violinist of the Beijing Accent Soloists Chamber Orchestra. His contributions to music extend beyond performance; he was the official composer for “Toward the Moon,” the theme for China’s Lunar Exploration Program.A sought-after artist, Shucong He has been featured on CCTV’s premier music programs, including Spring Sonata Concert, the 2025 Greater Bay Area New Year Gala, National Treasure, and My Artistic Inventory. His expertise has also made him a featured guest on Jiangsu TV’s Who’s Still Standing?, further solidifying his role as an influential figure in the classical music landscape.


He Shucong brings substantial pedagogical expertise, having served on the faculty of the Central Conservatory of Music Affiliated Dingshi Experimental School, Harbin Conservatory of Music, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. As a sought-after pedagogue, he regularly conducts masterclasses and adjudicates competitions at over a dozen prestigious festivals worldwide, including Singapore International Violin Festival, Beijing International Masterclass Festival, and Zhuhai International String Academy. His pedagogical achievements are reflected in his students’ outstanding successes, having won numerous top prizes in both international and national competitions. Many of his students have been admitted to world-renowned institutions, including The Juilliard School, the Royal Academy of Music in London, and the Central Conservatory of Music.
