Feng Liyuan was awarded a full scholarship to study piano at École Normale de Musique de Paris, and her exceptional performance there earned high praise from mentors, who recommended her for further study at Conservatoire Marcel Dupré. In Conservatoire Marcel Dupré, she studied under renowned pianist Professor Jean-Pascal Meyer, who was the director and founder of famous “Nuits Maconnaises” Music Festival in France. In 2014, Feng Liyuan gained admission to the prestigious fortepiano program at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Paris (CRR PARIS), where she studied under Prof. Patrick Cohen — celebrated French pianist-fortepianist and founding figure of historical performance pedagogy in France. Under his mentorship, Feng Liyuan mastered period-specific techniques and stylistic nuances, leading to frequent solo and chamber recital invitations at Parisian cultural venues. Her performances garnered unanimous acclaim from critics and audiences. In 2020, Feng Liyuan presented a solo fortepiano recital at the Fortepiano Museum of Château de Croissy-sur-Seine, receiving high praise.
