On 8th of November, President Lu Siqing held the School Affairs meeting of the Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao in which part of the music faculty attended. President Lu listened to the content of the teaching activities and the report of the current circumstance on music teaching since the opening of the School and made established key work plans for this semester.

President Lu affirmed the preparatory work of the School during this early stage, and summarized the current teaching responsibilities, especially from the perspective of the music profession and put forward specific requirements for the management and the curriculum of the School, for elective courses and academic course arrangements and further defined the direction of the School’s development moving forward. 

President Lu pointed out that the Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao has world-class facilities, established a professional music teaching team, and accumulated a number of young talents. He addressed that we have already achieved a very promising start and have been fully supporting and guiding these young musicians. In addition, we continue to look forward to working with all the teaching and management teams to build the School into the best music school in China, to light up the future for all students with professionalism and dedication and bring all students from the Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao to the world’s biggest stage.
