Xiao Xiyuan completed her bachelor's degree at the Xi'an Conservatory of Music, where she studied under Professor Vladimir Zanin and Teacher Li Wei. She then pursued a Master’s in Artistic Direction at the Royal Academy of Music in the UK, learning from esteemed mentors such as Roger Vignoles, Simon Lepper, Kathron Sturrock, and Danny Driver.

 

During her undergraduate years, Xiao performed at prestigious venues including the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris and the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia di ROMA. After her graduation, she joined the Nanchang Symphony Orchestra as a pianist, working with renowned conductors like Li Xincao and Yu Long. In the UK, her performance career expanded as she held concerts in cities such as London, Brighton, Chichester, Fakenham, and Becknham, and she also performed with the Salomon Orchestra.

 

Upon completing her studies, Xiao Xiyuan was appointed the Artistic Director and Music Assistant at Brighton College’s Music Department in the UK, where she was responsible for overseeing GCSE, A-Level, ABRSM & Trinity teaching, and performance activities. She later took on the role of a piano accompanist in the preparatory department at The Tianjin Juilliard School, furthering her career in music education and performance.
