After multiple rounds of international recruitment and rigorous professional assessments conducted jointly by The Yehudi Menuhin School UK and The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao, Thomas Rosenkranz, a pianist and educator from the United States, has officially joined The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao as the Director of Music and Professor of Piano.

On December 17th, seven students from The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao (YMSQ) were invited to represent the school at the Motto by Hilton China’s First Store Launch and Concert, an event organized by the Shinan District Government of Qingdao.

On October 29, Philippe Tondre, Oboe Professor at the Curtis Institute of Music, visited The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao (YMSQ) to conduct a masterclass and perform in a concert.

On October 25, the Global Chinese Youth Concert for World Peace was held in Shanghai, bringing together exceptional young performers from across the global Chinese community.

As the only overseas branch of the Yehudi Menuhin School, the founding and development of The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao has become a significant achievement in China-UK educational collaboration.

On the eve of China’ s National Day, three talented young musicians from the Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao—Liu Bojun, Guo Siyan, and Wen Xin—joined forces with fellow artists Qu Minghao, Zhang Xiaomei, and Li Yiming to perform atop the majestic Mount Tai.

On the evening of September 29, Xiao Xiyuan, a faculty member of The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao, took part in the “Walking Together – United Front Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China.”
