​On March 18, the Second Forum on Vision and Mission of Music Education, hosted by the Qingdao Academy of Educational Sciences and organized by The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao (YMSQ), was successfully convened at our campus.

At the start of the new year, a delegation of teachers and students from The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao (YMSQ), led by President Lu Siqing and Music Director Thomas Rosenkranz, embarked on a week-long study tour to the UK. This marked a profound face-to-face interaction between the Chinese and British sister schools in areas such as teaching and research, student development, community outreach, and resource sharing, becoming a significant milestone in China-UK cultural exchange.An Immersive

On February 10, the "China-UK Partnership: Harmony Through Charity" series—jointly organised by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the UK and the Lord Mayor's Appeal of the City of London—hosted the Chinese New Year Charity Concert at the historic Mansion House, the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London. President Lu Siqing attended the event along with student representatives from The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao (YMSQ) who were visiting the UK, and they were invited to perform at this special occasion.

After multiple rounds of international recruitment and rigorous professional assessments conducted jointly by The Yehudi Menuhin School UK and The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao, Thomas Rosenkranz, a pianist and educator from the United States, has officially joined The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao as the Director of Music and Professor of Piano.

On December 17th, seven students from The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao (YMSQ) were invited to represent the school at the Motto by Hilton China’s First Store Launch and Concert, an event organized by the Shinan District Government of Qingdao.

On November 24, The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao welcomed dozens of new families to explore the beautiful campus, experience diverse courses, and gain an in-depth understanding of cutting-edge educational philosophies while discussing personalized plans for their children’s future.

On November 15, the inaugural “Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao Youth Original Composition Competition” wrapped up with an award ceremony and winners’ concert.

On October 29, Philippe Tondre, Oboe Professor at the Curtis Institute of Music, visited The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao (YMSQ) to conduct a masterclass and perform in a concert.

On October 25, the Global Chinese Youth Concert for World Peace was held in Shanghai, bringing together exceptional young performers from across the global Chinese community.
