On July 28, the 2024 Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao Summer School officially opened with a series of exciting events on the first day, including registration, campus tours, orientation sessions, music performances, and a reception.

On the afternoon of July 18, Huang Zhixian, Member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and Vice Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee, led a delegation on a visit to The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao for a comprehensive review.

In mid-July, the inaugural Percussion Education Seminar was successfully held at The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao.

On the afternoon of July 9th, a strategic cooperation signing ceremony between The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao and Qingdao Radio and Television Station was held grandly in the studio hall of Qingdao Radio and Television Station.

On June 22nd, as summer approached and the fruits of education were about to ripen, The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao held its 2024 graduation ceremony under the theme “Pursuing Excellence – May You Have the Power to Converse with the World.”

On May 9th, the first International Youth Violin/Classical Guitar Education Symposium was grandly held at The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao (YMSQ).

On the evening of April 14th, a special concert featuring French piano compositions was held at the Menuhin Hall to commemorate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France.

On April 14th, Zeng Zanrong, a member of the Standing Committee of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee, visited The Yehudi Menuhin School Qingdao to inspect and guide the school's operations.

On April 14th, Academician Ding Hong, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Deputy Director of the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Founding Dean of the Kilo-Innovation Research Institute, and a condensed matter physicist, along with Academician Wang Enge, Vice Chairman of the Beijing Association for Science and Technology and former President of Peking University, and Academician Tang Chao, Chair Professor at Peking University and Executive Dean of the Academy for Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies at Peking University, led a delegation of scientists from the Kilo-Innovation Research Institute to visit our school.
