Duh Min graduated from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with Master's Degree with Distinction in piano performance. She later received a scholarship from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire for further study and graduated in APD Professional Performance in piano. During the time, she studied with the distinguished Chinese pianist Xiao Di, John Thwaites, the Head of Piano Department at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Robert Markham, and David Quigley.


Duh Min has won numerous awards, including second place in the Asian Youth Music Competition in Singapore, second place in the International Young Pianist Competition, class of Beethoven sonata in Japan, first place in the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Piano Prize, Joseph Weingarten Memorial Trust Scholarship to study at Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Hungary and Yamaha Music Scholarship.


Her musical activities include International Summer Academy Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria, Peter Lang Masterclass Series in Vienna, Austria, Talent Summer Courses in Brescia, Italy, Cadenza International Summer Music School in Bushey, UK. She has also received piano lessons from Chinese and international pianists such as Qin Beiqi, Jean-Marie Cottett, Carole Presland, Stefan Arnold, Christopher Elton, Fali Pavri, Philip

Edward Fisher.

 

In addition to music, she is  also committed to language teaching and translation. She was an interpreter for the British International Music Academy and taught English related lessons at Taipei Municipal Shipai Elementary School.
